The young Italian born bass player, who played as sideman with some of the greatest Italian and American Musicians, is now starting for the first time his project as Band Leader.
This new-born musical journey is drawn from the need to voice Luca’s musical poetics through original compositions and arrangements of american jazz standards. In this project Luca takes advantage of his experiences alongside great jazz musicians such as Enrico Pieranunzi, Fabrizio Bosso, Dee Dee Bridgewater, Joe Lovano, George Garzone, Stanley Jordan, just to name a few, to create a musical project deeply rich in emotion and essence. The goal of L.A. & The Emotions Economy is to achieve a level of freedom that allows the band as whole to play without constraints, but still allowing the audience to interpret the song along with the musicians. A song can breathe and live in many different ways, and Luca Alemanno excels to constantly explore those possibilities.
Claudio Filippini and Nicola Angelucci, two of the most inspired and gifted musicians that you can find in Italy, also embody this same spirit on and off the band stand.
